Caring for Your Artwork

Your artwork is important to us, and we take every reasonable care whilst it is in our workshop.

If your artwork is valued at more than £1,000, we strongly recommend that you arrange your own independent insurance, whilst it is in our care. Please let us know if any item exceeds this value.

Certain processes, including re-stretching canvases and dry mounting original artwork, are undertaken entirely at the owner’s risk as they carry an inherent risk of damage.

Quotations

All quotations are valid for 30 days. Quotes are based on the materials, sizes and specifications agreed at the time. Any changes to your order may result in a revised quotation.

Payment

A 50% deposit is required when you accept your estimate. The remaining 50% balance is payable when your order is complete and before collection or delivery.

We accept most cards and Bank Transfer.

All goods remain the property of Leverton Framers Ltd until payment has been received in full.

Collection of Your Order

We’ll contact you as soon as your order is ready. Please collect completed work within 30 days of notification. Storage charges may apply to orders that remain uncollected after this period.

Materials, Finishes & Variations

The materials we use are natural and by definition poses beautiful and unique qualities. Whilst we work hard to keep consistency across all of our bespoke work to match our samples, we cannot guarantee the varied nature of materials from our suppliers will always be the same, or that products will react consistently with the finishes we apply to them.

Warranty

All bespoke frames are guaranteed against defects in materials and workmanship for 12 months from the date of collection.

This warranty does not cover:
Accidental damage, incorrect hanging, misuse, alterations made by anyone other than Leverton Framers Ltd, normal ageing of materials.

Photography

We love sharing our work. Unless you ask us not to, we may photograph completed framing projects for use on our: Website / Social media / Marketing materials. We may have your work on display in our gallery until collection, as an example to other clients.

We will never identify you or share your personal information without your permission.

Returns & Cancellations

As every frame is made to your individual specification, bespoke orders cannot be cancelled or refunded once work has commenced, except where required by your statutory rights.

Commercial Installations

If your framing is intended for galleries, offices, public buildings or commercial spaces, we recommend professional installation using suitable fixings and glazing.

Leverton Framers Ltd cannot accept responsibility for damage or injury resulting from incorrect installation after the artwork has left our premises.

Changes to These Terms

Leverton Framers Ltd may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The version in place when your order is accepted will apply.
